MRS Wohnen GmbH operates well-maintained accommodation for homeless people across Berlin. Our commitment is clear: safe housing, reliable points of contact, and concrete support on the way back to stable living conditions.
We give people a place where they can find their footing again.
MRS Wohnen GmbH is not a conventional landlord. We are a Berlin-based operator of accommodation for people facing acute housing crises.
Our team consists of social pedagogues, house managers and experienced professionals. Together, we ensure that residents are not only accommodated, but supported in their daily lives – with applications, administrative matters, appointments with social welfare offices, job centres or the State Office for Refugee Affairs, and in the search for long-term housing.
Our goal is not permanent accommodation. Our goal is the transition to a more independent, more stable life.
Losing a home often means losing more than just four walls. What's missing is calm, structure, security – and a place from which the next steps become possible at all.
This is exactly where MRS Wohnen comes in. We create orderly, well-maintained and dignified accommodation. At the same time, we support residents in sorting out their affairs, keeping appointments and developing new perspectives.
In doing so, we work closely with Berlin's social welfare offices, job centres and the State Office for Refugee Affairs. Berlin is our location, our field of work and our responsibility.
Our accommodation deliberately differs from what many people associate with a basic emergency shelter.
We focus on well-maintained rooms, modern furnishings, clear procedures and respectful interaction on site. Because people can only begin to sort things out when they have a place where they can come to rest.
For us, accommodation is therefore not just about administering beds. It is the first step back towards stability.
Our approach is clearly structured. We see ourselves not as a final destination, but as reliable support along the way.
Accommodation is more than a place to sleep. It is often the first firm ground from which a person can begin to put their life back in order.
Our accommodations are spread across the entire city – from Charlottenburg to Köpenick, from Prenzlauer Berg to Lichtenberg.
We focus exclusively on the capital. That makes us familiar with the local structures, authorities and conditions – and enables cooperation that works reliably for everyone involved.
